Horizontal Flow Workstations

Set-up the horizontal flow workstation in a Lab Area, Cleanroom, Mobile Site, or Work Area add power and you have an instant clean environment where you can do research, material analysis, cleaning, or light manufacturing. Whether it is an economical table top unit or a full console style, there is a unit to meet each customer's needs and budget. Each workstation offers an enclosed work area with 100% horizontal laminar airflow to provide the clean zone required for the specific application.

Laminar Flow Console

The horizontal flow bench is constructed out of high density particle board, epoxy painted steel, stainless steel or can be lined with chemical resistant polypropylene. Construction techniques and motor reduce noise and vibration. The HEPA filters incorporated into these units guarantee 99.99% efficiency in removing all particles of 0.3 micron or larger. The sterile air produced across the work area meets the requirements of ISO Class 5 (Class 100) and bioclean conditions.

The Economy Table Top Unit

The Economy Table Top filtration unit is epoxy painted steel or stainless steel or constructed of high-density Formica covered particle board. The adjustable voltage regulator maintains a nominal 100 FPM air filter face velocity. The sterile air produced across the work area meets ISO Class 5 (Class 100) and the 99.99% HEPA filter efficiency removes all particles 0.3 micron or larger.

The Horizontal Flow Workstation is manufactured in 4, 6 and 8 foot lengths.

They are generally shipped in one piece for “plug and play” operation. It is advisable to assure there is a clear path from the receiving dock to the set-up area when purchasing longer units.

Units can be linked together by removing side panels if a larger area is required.

Internal utility ports can be added for electrical, air or vacuum.

The work surface is generally part of the frame assembly but stand-alone tables are also available.

A front sash can be added to enhance air flow characteristics and the sash can also be fitted with gloves for operator protection.
